I have for a long time had the tenancy to draw skulls and skeletons if I am at a loss for what else to draw so I'm going to put up over the next few days a few that I have laying around.

I was asked to make some paper hair and accessories for my friends wedding and I thought I'd post some samples since they are enjoyable.

I've been watching so much Daria I'm thinking I should go as her for Halloween, though it would probably be a costume I'd never remove again. I basically just need the monotone and continuous sarcasm which I almost have down anyways. Oh thoughts how you hinder my productivity and human value.

After a some what productive summer I am deeply submerged in thesis, school work and begrudging shifts at work work. I'm going to try my best to keep this up to date with my "artist progression" since at the very least it'll be a good tracker of thesis research.

In any case here is my favorite piece vintage illustration that I picked up over the summer. It tumbled out of an ancient and decaying Kids activity and story book called 'Our Little Soliders' and with in it gems such as Tom's Adventure in Orange Land and natural history about animals and people from far off, all stressing the importance of respect and the terrible consequences of misbehavior; my favorite.

And thus I present Girl Carried Away By Immense Eagle.

Banff Finally!

The first Picture I took in Banff and my relization that every thing is going to be too blue

Lots of elk and Danielle (the friend who I was visting in bnaff) tells my lots of horny dangerous elk come summer time.

Banff Park Lodge nested by trees. My friends and I later had a fondue dinner there and freaked our selves out with ghost stories in honor of the many paranormal tales of the hotel.

My Great grandmother and grandfather's graves. All the more Banff cred for me I guess. Also I love their names.

And a night out with the pretty ladies that was going around with.

It was an excellent trip but I'm not much of a tourist. I get too grumpy, and then ridiculous. but it was pretty, and it was nice to be away. the Trip consisted of my friends Bri, Efehan and myself visiting Danielle who is currently doing an awesome work placement there (completely jealous). I hope to return again its such a lovely place and go to the wild flour cafe again because that was just far too delicious.

Here is an class assignment I did a couple of months ago. Fun times. I can't seem to break away from monsters and little girls. I must feel vulnerable. That or I have a not so secret desire to make young girls uncomfortable. Either or really.

Also I have new Polaroids I'll be posting soon from my recent trip to Banff.

Last year I spent all my productive time day dreaming about going to England wandering the streets and buying my favorite cookies. Then I went, and now I have some Polaroids, so I will post some of those now.

This is the window from my old apartment on King west. Three days after this picture they pulled down the tree with out telling the neighbors. I missed it even now that I live some where else, it made a difference to a barren down town existence. Now I take walks in trinity bellwoods. Its pretty, and some times there's a falcon that comes and tries to kill some pigeons. That's just sweet ass is what that is.

I Know, I went to london and took pictures of bed and windows but there are so many picture of monuments I wanted to visually remember my experience and appritate the land scape than have a dozen pictures of churches. Also I do I have landscapes but I'm too lazy to scan all of my pictures right now. YAY. Two years of England procrastination.

Instead of working this weekend I made Rum apple sauce, roast chicken and vegetables with my friend Allison and Apple spice cake with caramel rum sauce. I need to focus and stop creative eating.

I'm going to be designing the front window of my store Roma rush for the holidays!! Yay! ... Really its not a great deal for the amount of work but I'm excited that I'm going to be doing something for such large display. I'll be using my sewing esthetic to enhance the neighbourhood. I'll post my sketches that I presented her with later as no scanner here but YAY.

So here is a big post with all my exhibition work of the past little while and a test of water colour on silk which I have been experimenting with lately.

Now that I'm finally settled in an apartment that's livable (only took 6 month of jumping around) I'm going to push myself to be more productive so that I have a chance of 1. completing my schooling and 2. maybe actually have a chance of being an illustrator. So I'm going to try and up day every day for a little while so that I get into the habit of producing and having them public. So here is some art work.

I'm missing a few but those can come later.

So just some super procrastination.

A constantly reoccuring state.

This one has a story, I wanted this helmet when I was a kid I made it up and described it to my parents. Of course such a helmet didn't exist, so, my parents got me a ninja turtles one instead, which I must say was pretty sweet ass as you got to choose what turtel's make you wanted to put on it and there were pizza stickers and stuff. Any way at school a was talking to my friends Ali and Ahmed about this random memory and Ahmed was convinced that m life was unfulfilled but this unrequited dream. So I drew myself in it. Its pretty kick as I must say, if I owned it I would wear a pretend to ride a bike to school as I'm currently with out.

And if any one watched the BBC series Merlin this will make a little sense. I'm sorry for the spelling and horrible rendering quality I drew, painted and scanned it in about 5 mins as a whim while I scanned the other. To explain in this series there was a whole 45 min episode about Aurthur killing a unicorn and Merlin being all "Nooooooooo Aurthur why'd you dooooo that?" and the kingdom being cursed by the protector of unicorns and Aurthur having to do all these tasks and Merlin trying to secretly help him and lots of secret love tension looks and "Oh Please Don't die" cuddles. so they just wanted to do it again... pun intended. Oh hohohoho.

So this is the first post on my artish blog and not a hugelying stellar on this in a corperate greeting card I made for my illustration core class its cute not masterly rendered but this is an effort to get my stuff out a little more and to keep the momentum going from my art show. more soon!
